After being deemed worthy by the Arbiter, Tyari becomes "The Traveler," and is the first confirmed transgender character within the League of Legend s canon, no longer using he/him pronouns. Like Cithria, this story serves to inspire and is very satisfying when learning of its conclusion. Tyari has traveled far to become the person she always knew that she

Battle Sled: A respawning sled appears in base that can be steered by the first player that climbs into it. Other allies can hitch a ride by jumping onto the sled and everyone will explode out upon colliding with terrain or an en

In his next appearance, "Warden’s Prey," players learn that a far worse fate would come to the Aristocrat in the form Thresh, the chain warden. In Warden’s Prey, fans see the Hapless Aristocrat hiding in a graveyard from Thresh, the tormentor of souls. It’s unclear whether or not the Aristocrat would manage to avoid Thresh’s chains and escape the Shadow Isles. Maybe playerscan expect a follow up to the Aristocrat’s story in later expansions, and hopefully, he could catch a much-needed br

From within the depths of the Shadow Isles, there is a great tragedy; the tragedy of the Hapless Aristocrat. This story is far less wholesome or inspiring than that of Cithria’s. It all begins with the card "Arachnoid Sentry," with a gentleman caller approaching a house with a smug grin and four roses. From the card’s flavor text it’s revealed that he’s expecting dinner with some woman he’s fallen hopelessly in love with. But instead of being greeted by a beautiful woman at the door, he’s face to face with a giant spider and everything begins to unravel from th

For emerging victorious in an event, all members of the winning team are granted a temporary or permanent buff. Depending on the prize, it's either a small benefit or one that drastically tilts the game in that team's fa

The ascent up the mountain continues in "Mountain Sojourners." The group of three are still making their way up the mountain where things only get more perilous. The card art for "Fused Firebrand" shows a giant metallic dragon attacking two travelers in the snow, Emir and Tyari, with Halley nowhere to be seen. It can be inferred that the Halley fell off the side of the mountain in Mountain Sojourners. The Mentor’s prediction about Halley and Emir failing to make it to the peak turned out to be t

The next time players see the group of travelers is in "Mountain Scryer," where only three of the travelers are present. This is reinforced in "Tyari the Traveler," where once again there are only three travelers present, as Tyari is seen opening a portal. After a brief stop and a lesson from the "Mentor of the Stones," voice line interactions between the Mentor and other cards reveal that the Mentor doesn’t see a future for the climbers Emir and Hal

Prize Fight: Both teams square off in 1v1 or 2v2 fights at the center of the map. Note that fighting players will spawn near the brush in lane, so placing some traps as Teemo, Maokai, or other champions prior to the event start can result in a quick round vict

Whether you’re a middle lane sorcerer or a speedy jungler, make sure to check on your middle lane. Simply knowing where they and checking in on them occasionally will not only help them maintain their lane, but it’ll probably help their self-esteem by visiting to show you care about t

Ahead of the 2020 Spring Split, Counter Logic Gaming acquired former world champion Lee "Crown" Min-ho. After a 1-7 start, Crown was benched for veteran Eugene "Pobelter" Park. "When [Pobelter] first joined, the team was kinda off the rails in a way," Stixxay said while laughing. "We forgot about a lot of the fundamentals and basics of the moba game champions cause we’d just been losing so mu

In the flavor text of her first card appearance, "Cithria of Cloudfield," it’s revealed that Cithria’s mother told her stories of Demacia’s greatest heroes, and that her mother was a soldier herself. In the card’s art, Cithria is carrying a wooden sword on her back as she walks through a Demacian town, having not yet started her journey as a sold

A classic alternative to your standard ability-power focused champion in the mid lane, Zed has consistently been a thorn in everyone's side since his release all the way back in 2012. With better team fight capabilities than an Akali and superior scaling to even some AP champs, Zed has an impressive ban rate of about ~

Whether players only want to try Nexus Blitz once or intend to spend the next month queuing up for as many matches as possible, the game mode is certainly quick and a different take on League of Legends . But in the end, its player retention during Spirit Blossom 2020 will ultimately determine if Nexus Blitz returns sooner or goes away for a much longer time ag

If the game drags out past the 15-minute mark, both Nexuses will become giant minions and walk towards the center of the map. During Sudden Death, respawn timers are massively reduced, and killing the enemy Nexus will immediately end the match. However, the Nexuses have received upgrades and can now gain a massive HP shield, knock enemy champions back towards their base, or periodically reduce incoming dam
