Skyrim - As a fan of fantasy set role playing games, Skyrim has to be one of the games I've been looking forward to since its original announcement. I'm looking forward to letting my mood take me where I want to play the game and see what kinds of surprises Bethesda has in store for people who are willing to ignore the campaign and really explore the world. Yes, I have plans to make a two-handed warrior who dabbles in the smallest bit of ma

Gaming funds have dropped for me, but that's actually not a bad thing as I'll be able to clean up some of my backlog. Being the Naughty Dog fanboy I am, I plan to pick up Uncharted 3 . I'll also be grabbing Modern Warfare 3 and The King of Fighters XIII . In terms of my backlog, I picked up the PC version of Brink a while back so I'll be giving that a spin. I also plan to finish Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway and Kirby's Return To Dreamland in the next couple of days, but I'm also going to spend the month trying to clean up all of the trophies in Section 8: Prejudice - only 8 more until my platinum! Oh, and maybe my friend will finally pick up Ratchet and Clank All 4 One so I can start playing i

Gears of War 3 - There's nothing quite like chainsawing through your friends - especially with Halloween approaching - and if your chainsaw happens to be attached to your gun, well, all the better. Football Manager 11 - With midterms abound, there's nothing like a good bout of sports management that you can run in the background whilst you focus on cracking out papers. Until league mods come out for FM12, I'll stick with last year's version. The The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim - This game can't come out soon enough. My housemates may worry when I disappear for three days without food into my room, but trust me, it'll be worth it. Most Anticipated Game: Uncharted 3 hands down. The original Uncharted was fantastic, and the sequel only built upon that and provided excitement all the way through. From the pieces I've played of Uncharted 3 so far, the full game will be an experience to beh

Much like Team Fortress 2 -- one of Blizzard's most obvious influences on the title -- Overwatch is a team-oriented game: extra emphasis on that "team-oriented" part. No matter what the skill levels are of players on the team, Blizzard's smart direction and design of Overwatch emphasizes the need for players to work together and collaborate incredibly well, and along the way makes each match feel like a learning experience when it comes down to playing as each of the game's Heroes and mastering their skills and particular ro

From December 16 through December 18, 2016, Major League Gaming will host its first MLG Vegas event, an esports and digital culture festival at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The 3 day event will feature the first competition of the Call of Duty World League _ 2017 _ and an _Overwatch Invitational

In addition to the game's we'll be playing, we'll also tell you what our most anticipated game for November is. Last month it was Batman: Arkham City , but which game will take the coveted title for November? That's not all! We've also compiled a list of all of games releasing in November, and what platforms they'll be

Yes, the PlayStation Vita isn't a game, but it's probably one of the most anticipated handhelds of all time. With it, Sony plans to take portable gaming a step further; dual analog sticks, front and rear touch pads, and a beautiful OLED screen make the Vita a gamer's dream. With the promise of always on connectivity and console quality games on the go, the Vita has earned the immense hype surrounding

On the non-Vita side of things I'm looking forward to experiencing Resident Evil: Revelations in earnest, after the great demo hooked me in. Aside from that I'm also looking forward to checking out the first DLC for Iron Brigade/Trenched , Rise of the Martian Bear, as well as Alan Wake's American Nightmare , both downloadable follow-ups to games I enj

Discover brand new ways to play Overwatch in the Arcade. Choose from a variety of regularly rotating game modes, maps, and rulesets that don't quite fit into Quick Play or Competitive Play. Whether it's 1-on-1 duels, 3-vs-3 skirmishes, our alternating selection of brawls, or special rulesets like "no hero switching," you should have no problem finding a game that fits your mood. Experience is earned just like any other mode, but you can also earn Arcade-specific rewards, like Loot Bo

Bastion has long been dubbed "the noob killer" due to his ability to dominate at lower levels of play. Unfortunately, as players gain more skill, they learn how to deal with Bastion and take him out before he becomes a problem. Bastion can be strong, but he's too situational to put among some of the better perform

Competitive multiplayer shooters are not only competitive these days in the sense of proving their ability to offer engaging multiplayer experiences, but even more so for proving that they will have lasting communities built around them to last for at least a few months (or hopefully years). Against multiplayer mainstays like Counter-Strike , Dota 2 , League of Legends , the latest editions of Call of Duty or Battlefield , and more, the chances of a lasting community around a new multiplayer title grow slimmer each year: thankfully, Overwatch seems to have proven the opposite in so many ways with a bustling and vibrant community, whether it's been in-Fps game multiplayer guide or on the game's subred
